Jaisalmer
Luxury on the sand - jaisalmer
The Ananta Jaisalmer is a marvel of architectural design, taking inspiration from the sand dunes of the Jaisalmer desert in Rajasthan, India. The project features an organic layout with low-rise structures interspersed with beautifully landscaped spaces.
The development’s design is heavily influenced by traditional Indian villages, while simultaneously taking cues from the sand dunes in the surrounding area. The result is a truly contextual design that seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings, making it a stunning tribute to the beauty of Rajasthan’s landscape.
One of the most impressive aspects of The Ananta Jaisalmer is its environmentally conscious design. The project is carefully planned to respond to the climate, with features that provide natural ventilation and shade to keep the interiors cool and comfortable. This sustainable design approach is not only eco-friendly, but it also enhances the guest experience, providing a tranquil and refreshing oasis amidst the desert heat.
Overall, The Ananta Jaisalmer is a breathtaking tribute to the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The project’s organic layout, traditional design influences, and environmentally conscious approach create a truly unique and unforgettable guest experience.
LUXURY ON THE SAND
Special features
Our 30-acre site is designed with a single perimeter road that minimizes traffic movement and creates a peaceful, vehicle-free zone encompassing 90% of the site. Upon entering the site at the north-west corner, guests will find public facilities such as banqueting facilities, restaurants, and games areas on the western side. These structures will be constructed using shotcrete, with undulating volumes that merge seamlessly into the ground, evoking the natural sand dunes in the surrounding area.
The 178 luxurious rooms are arranged in small, individual structures with each unit consisting of 4 or 6 rooms, designed to open out into gardens or terraces. The organic clusters of the room structures on the eastern side of the site are inspired by the traditional layout of Indian villages in the region.
In response to the desert climate of the location, all the structures are designed with interstitial sheltered open spaces, which help to reduce heat gain while providing comfortable spaces for guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Furthermore, the room structures are built using adobe construction, making the project both sustainable and economical, as well as being extremely energy-efficient.
At our development, we strive to create an experience that is both luxurious and environmentally responsible, with a focus on providing a serene escape into nature’s beauty. From our thoughtful design to our commitment to sustainability, we invite you to discover the perfect balance of indulgence and eco-friendliness at our desert oasis.
